Are you a tech-savvy Business Analyst with a passion for connected technologies, data, and product innovation? We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing technology business for a Business Analyst to join their high-performing Product & Data Analytics team based in Melbourne’s Northern Suburbs.

In this role, you'll be the vital link between software development teams and enterprise customers, working across connected vehicle platforms, IoT datasets, and real-time analytics. You’ll help translate business problems into functional solutions and contribute to a product that’s transforming the way organisations manage large fleets.

• Gather, define, and document business and technical requirements for SaaS-based products
   
• Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations) and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
   
• Analyse data and business processes to support strategic feature development
   
• Prepare detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
   
• Support the testing and implementation of new features, including UAT and feedback loops
   
• Continuously assess system improvements and drive process optimisation
   
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to capture evolving business needs
   

• 3–5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in a software, SaaS, or product-led business
   
• Strong experience gathering and documenting technical requirements (ideally in Agile environments)
   
• Hands-on exposure to data analysis, APIs, cloud platforms, or IoT technologies
   
• Experience working with tools like JIRA, Confluence, BPMN, UML, or Aha!
   
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience
   
• Experience in telematics, fleet management, or connected technologies is a major advantage
   
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
