WHS Manager (FMCG)

EC & Co Consulting is partnering with a well-established and growing organisation within the FMCG sector to recruit an experienced and proactive WHS Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a safety professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, driving positive safety outcomes, and influencing safety culture across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.

As the WHS Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening workplace health and safety practices across several sites throughout Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.

Working closely with site leadership teams, you will help ensure compliance, minimise risk, and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety systems and processes across the business.

• Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple locations.
• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of WHS policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Investigate incidents and assist with corrective and preventative actions.
• Provide practical safety advice and guidance to managers and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation and industry standards.
• Facilitate safety training, toolbox talks, and employee engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate safety records, reporting, and documentation.
• Support the development of a proactive and positive safety culture across all sites.

You are a hands-on and engaging safety professional with experience working in fast-paced operational environments. You are confident building relationships across all levels of a business and enjoy being visible and active within site operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a WHS, Safety Manager, or Safety Advisor position.
• Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, food production, logistics, warehousing, or other high-risk operational environments.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance requirements, and best practice safety management.
• Experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to workplace safety.
• Strong organisational and reporting capabilities.
• A current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel interstate as required.
